We’re excited about sharing creativity with participants of foodographypec.com, a food styling workshop on Tues Nov 13 in Prince Edward County (home of Countylicious, delicious maple syrup, Maple in the County…)Join us as we capture syrup pours with melting butter onto pancake stacks; “put the sizzle” to Ontario lamb racks and roasted Vicki’s root veg, paired with wines from Karlo Estates Winery. Their renouned Van Alstine White Port will pose alongside fruit (fig and bluecheese? raspberries and cream?) tart creations you assemble;decorate and slice Chocolate Mint Layer Cake (all baked by The Pink Lunch Pail)…our moto? cook shoot eat…so bring your appetites ! Chef Scott Royce of justcook.ca is our host at his South Bay farmhouse kitchen; lunch will be served.
Attending chefs and culinary creatives will not only try their hands at plating and shooting with their own SLR camera… they’ll also be subjects,as photographer Marc Polidoro captures the day. Tim Syder of Ton-up Creative will be there too, sharing graphic design tips(and maybe even showing me how to post larger images on my blog!). And what’s a photoshoot without props? Thanks to Zest Kitchen Shop, Gilbert and Lighthall, and End of the Thread Emporium for their use of some of the tableware we’ll be using in our workshop.
