Winter needs colour, so I’ve joined forces with Cynthia Peters at her marvelous“From the Farm Cooking School” in Prince Edward County for “Sweet Love Bites”, a cupcake decorating workshop on Sun Feb 13.

Some deliciously fun things to be demonstrated will be: making chocolate leaves, creating ribbons and shapes with edible chocolate clay, piping techniques for icings to make flowers, praline shards, fresh coconut decorations, marshmallow flowers…plus using household items for decorating (like garlic presses, scissors, cookie cutters). All you need to do is bring your own container for taking home 8 of your own cupcakes to share later, your own rolling pin and your creativity. Coffee and sweets provided, with a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Ontario Association of Food Banks and Quinte Conservation
