The Great Canadian Cheese Festival is about to celebrate the cheeses of Canada gloriously, here in Picton Ontario on June 1-3, 2012. Cheese knives are a fitting item in any self-respecting kitchen drawer, and a tiny off-grid cabin in the woods is no exception. Visit the Pastry House for some fine breads to go with your cheese, or visit Agrarian Cheese Market and Speakeasy, in Bloomfield, for just about everything else you’ll want to eat…and drink!! shortly to receive it’s liquor license. {I’m planning a visit there tomorrow.} Oh how I miss thee, Fifth Town Cheese….more on that cheesey interuption of something that was so very fine, read here.
